The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision

Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in California aged 55.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.

The influential industry figure lost his life when his automobile collided and caught fire on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
