Sir Keir informed President Volodymyr Zelensky that the Britain, the French Republic, and Germany were in agreement in their desire to advance efforts toward employing the full value of the seized Moscow's national funds to halt hostilities. He noted that additional restrictions in the coming days and weeks would apply more pressure on Russia. This declaration comes after European Union leaders met in the Danish capital recently to discuss using seized Russia's assets for a €140bn loan to Ukraine. Last month, US President Donald Trump encouraged international partners to seize or employ immobilized Russian holdings, according to news outlets. The total of seized Russia's holdings in the EU is calculated to be approximately €211bn.
